Day Camp Program

PK to 5th Grade

Designed by a team of experienced Waterford School educators, Day Camp is an all-day multi-sensory program, where campers experience the outdoors daily, learn through STEM, music, dance, art, sports, swimming, field trips, and carefully conceived, self-directed play. The activities of each week are tied to an exciting theme, are led by experienced teachers, and are assisted by enthusiastic high school and college age camp counselors. There are four levels of Day Camp (from youngest to oldest): Wildebeests, Warthogs, Wolves, and Ravens.

Wildebeests Day Camp, PK3/PK4

Designed by a team of experienced teachers here at Waterford, Wildebeests Day Camp is a half-day multi-sensory program, where campers who are 3 to 4 years old experience the outdoors daily, learn through nature explorations, STEM, music, dance, art, sports, story time, water games, and carefully conceived, self-directed play.

Ravens Day Camp, 4th-5th Grades

Rising 4th and 5th grade campers will experience the outdoors daily, learn through nature exploration, STEM, music, dance, art, sports, story time, swimming, field trips, and carefully conceived, self-directed play. They get to choose several of their activities, and take a unique field trip each week.

These rising 2nd and 3rd grade campers will have more choices in their activities in Day Camp. They experience the outdoors daily, learn through nature exploration, STEM, music, dance, art, sports, story time, swimming, field trips, and carefully conceived, self-directed play.

Rising Kindergarten and 1st grade campers are ready to venture a little further afield and will have a few choices in their Day Camp activities. Forest & Garden Nature Connection

Join legendary Early Childhood teacher Kristie Jensen and her staff for a week of nature-based songs, rhymes, storytelling, gardening, food prep skills, plant, animal and insect observation, nature crafts, sensory awareness games, and outdoor cooking. Childhood joy, wonder, and friendship will flourish outside!
