Wildebeests – A Day Camp for Kids entering PK3-PK4

Designed by a team of experienced teachers here at Waterford, Wildebeests Day Camp is an all-day, multi-sensory program, where campers who are 3 to 4 years old experience the outdoors daily, learn through nature explorations, STEM, music, dance, art, sports, story time, water games, and carefully conceived, self-directed play.

The activities of each week are tied to a unique, exciting question, are led by qualified teachers, and are assisted by energetic, young interns. The children will return home full of facts, ideas, songs, craft projects, and stories to share.

In addition to the daily activities, there will be a field trip to a local park each week. Over the course of the summer the campers will do many activities in the nature zone and on the playground, see how the park changes over time, and come to make it their own.

It is essential that students in Day Camp be potty trained, and able to manage all bathroom needs on their own.

Our Wildebeests program is set up to be a half day every day, but if your PK child needs a full-day schedule, please select “Wildebeests Plus” in the session options after each week for which you register. This afternoon extension will include nap time/quiet time, free play with friends inside and out, more craft projects, and a closing gathering with the older day camp groups.

Before and After Care also available at registration.
