This is a camp where you have an opportunity to work with a teacher or camp counselor and some fellow students on a weeklong project (chosen and designed by you), connected to the weekly day camp theme of the younger campers. Dig in deep and learn a lot while you study your subject, prepare a special presentation, and then share it with the younger day campers. We will take a trip to the Sandy Library to research using books. The final projects will be presented to the residents at Alta Ridge Assisted Living.

The topics correspond to these day camp themes: Week 1 – Prehistoric Life; Week 2 – Wonders of the Wasatch Mountains; Week 4 – Adventure Under the Sea; Week 5 – Life Finds a Way; Week 6 – Go West!
