About Our Painting and Drawing Camp
Experience SLC through Art and Drawing! As part of this art camp, students will visit natural locations around SLC and spend time there drawing and observing under the direction of an expert, Waterford Art teacher Priscilla Stewart. Meet at school in the morning and return at lunch time. A sketchbook and art supplies will be provided. Before Care available at registration.
Typical Daily Schedule
|Monday, 9:00 am||Drawing native plants in Red Butte Gardens.|
|Tuesday, 9:00 am||Hike ensign peak to have a view of all of SLC and Antelope island. Draw and paint.|
|Wednesday, 9:00 am||Visit the Natural History Museum and make drawings.|
|Thursday, 12:30pm to 3:30pm||Visit the SLC ARTS Festival.|
|Friday, 9:00 am||Hike to Lake Mary up above Brighton, and draw the surrounding landscape.|
Northwest entrance from 9400 S, in the carpool lanes by the Lower School. Meet at 8:30am and bus to daily location.
Day pack with water bottle, snack, sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellant.
