About Our Painting and Drawing Camp

Experience SLC through Art and Drawing! As part of this art camp, students will visit natural locations around SLC and spend time there drawing and observing under the direction of an expert, Waterford Art teacher Priscilla Stewart. Meet at school in the morning and return at lunch time. A sketchbook and art supplies will be provided.

Typical Daily Schedule

Monday, 9:00 amDrawing native plants in Red Butte Gardens.
Tuesday, 9:00 amHike ensign peak to have a view of all of SLC and Antelope island. Draw and paint.
Wednesday, 9:00 amVisit the Natural History Museum and make drawings.
Thursday, 12:30pm to 3:30pmVisit the SLC ARTS Festival.
Friday, 9:00 amHike to Lake Mary up above Brighton, and draw the surrounding landscape.

Camp Details

not included

Northwest entrance from 9400 S, in the carpool lanes by the Lower School. Meet at 8:30am and bus to daily location.

Day pack with water bottle, snack, sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellant.
