MS Fishing Camp Details
Join members of our Operations Crew (and outdoor enthusiasts!) Camilo Castillo and Mike Bonham to master the basics of rod and reel fishing. Spend the first day on campus, learning about angling safety, how to use the equipment, basic anatomy and the habits of fish. We will then try our new skills first at a local pond, then at a lake, and finally in a mountain stream. We will also do a service project, helping to clean up a local waterway. For the cleanup project and the fishing experiences on the last 4 days, we will meet at 8am at school and travel by Waterford school bus to the locations.
If you don’t have the right equipment, we can provide a basic rod and reel and some lures. We will also help procure fishing licenses for those who are 12 years old or older.
